P. The grace and peace of Gold our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

T. Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

P. Blake e Danielle, the Church shares your joy and welcomes you, your parents, families and friends on this day when you will forge the everlasting alliance before God. May the Lord hear you today and give you His blessings and keep you together for a long time. May He bless you and make all your dreams come true.

P. Father, hear our prayers for Danielle and Blake who today are united in marriage before your altar. Give them your blessing, and strengthen their love for each other. We ask you for this through our Lord…

T. Amen.

May the Lord be with you!

- And also with you!

A reading from the Holy Gospel, according to John.

- Glory to you, Lord!

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine." "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now." This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

T. Amen

P. My dear friends, you have come together in this church so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of the Church’s minister and this community. In this way you will be strengthened to keep mutual and lasting faith with each other and to carry out the duties of marriage. Ando so, in the presence of the Church, I ask you to state your intentions.

P. Blake e Danielle, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?

N. Yes.

P. Will you love and honor each other as man and wife for the rest of your lives?

N. Yes.

P. Will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his Church?

N. Yes.

P. Since it is your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands, and declare your consent before God and his Church.

N. I, (Blake/Danielle), take you, (Danielle/Blake), to be my husband/wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.

P. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings. What God has joined, men must not divide!

P. Let’s praise the Lord.

T. Thanks be to God!

P. May the Lord bless these rings which you give to each other as the sign of your love and fidelity.

T. Amen.

N. Danielle/Blake, take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

P. Let us pray to the Lord for Danielle and Blake who come to God’s altar at the beginning of their married life so that they may always be united in love for each other.

P. Holy Father, you created mankind in your own image and made man and woman to be joined as husband and wife in union of body and heart and so fulfill their mission in this world.

Father, to reveal the plan of your love, you made the union of husband and wife and image of the covenant between you and your people.

Lord, grant that as they begin to live this sacrament they may share with each other the gift of your love and become one in heart and mind as witnesses to your presence in their marriage. Help them create a home together (and give them children to be formed by the gospel and to have a place in your family)

Give your blessings to Danielle, your daughter, so that she may be a good wife and mother, caring for the home, faithful in love to her husband, generous and kind. Give your blessings to Blake, your son, so that he may be a faithful husband and a good father.

Father, grant them as they come together to your table on earth, so that they may one day have the joy of sharing your feat in heaven.

(We ask this) through Christ our Lord.

T. Amen.

P. God the eternal Father keep you in love with each other, so that the peace of Christ may stay with you and be always in your home.

T. Amen.

P. May your children bless you, your friends console you and all men live in peace with you.

T. Amen.

P. May you always bear witness to the love of God in this world so that the afflicted and the needy will find in your generous friends, and welcome you into their joys of heaven.

T. Amen.

P. And may the almighty God bless you all, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

T. Amen.
